Tinie Tempah will headline this summer’ Party at the Proact on Sunday 8th June, joining Labrinth, Katy B, Lawson, Union and Miss Dynamite.
Multi-award winning rapper Tinie Tempah is the final act to join the bill for one of the summer hottest multi act line ups. Tinie’s success with number one hits ‘Written in the Stars’ and ‘Pass Out’ have propelled Tinie to ones of the hottest acts around. He released his first mixtape in 2005; his first album, Disc-Overy, debuted at number one in the UK in October 2010 and was preceded by two British number-one singles. In February 2011, he won two Brit Awards for Best British Breakthrough Act and Best British Single. 2011 and 2012 saw Tinie win Best UK Hip Hop/Grime Act at the MOBO awards for 2 years running.

Labrinth is the multifaceted rising star of British music. He has already enjoyed considerable success; his first two singles Let The Sun Shine and Earthquake stormed the top 3 with the latter selling over 550,000 copies. And now he’s about to demonstrate his abilities across a range of sounds and styles on his debut long-playing record, Electronic Earth, an album that will establish the boy born Timothy McKenzie in Hackney, London in 1989 as a mercurial one-off, a maverick of the UK scene.
English singer and songwriter Katy B is currently enjoy chart topping success with her debut album ‘Little Red’ heading straight into the charts at No 1. Single ‘Broken Record’ won the 2012 NME Awards for Best Dance Floor Anthem.
Ms. Dynamite, is an English hip hop and R&B recording artist, rapper-songwriter, and record producer. She is the recipient of the Mercury Music Prize, two BRIT Awards and three MOBO Awards. In September 2002, Ms. Dynamite became the first black female artist achieving a Mercury Music Prize, beating favourites the Streets, the Coral, and even music legend David Bowie.

Lawson have enjoyed chart success with ‘When She Was Mine’, ‘Taking Over Me’, ‘Standing In The Dark’ and ‘Learn To Love Again’ and features Chesterfield local-lad Ryan Fletcher on bass guitar. The rock / pop four-piece only released their first single in 2012 but already they’ve had five Top Five hits and a Top Ten debut album. Union J have taken the British boy band scene by storm attracting millions of fan. With a debut studio album and UK headline tour in 2013, the boys are already working on their second album.
