We are pleased to announce that two new acts: Loveable Rogues and Ollie Marland will join Friday night’s line up. The new additions will join Union J, Luke Friend, Rough Copy and Tich for what is set to be as fantastic start to the festival.
The Loveable Rogues are a three-piece from London, consisting of members Eddie Brett, Sonny Jay and Te Qhairo Eugene, who rose to fame after reaching the final of Britain's Got Talent in 2012.
Cheeky chappies Loveable Rogues charmed the Britain’s Got Talent audience – and judges – with their witty self-penned song “Love Sick” during the audition stage. The feel-good tune sent them through to the next round and caused a million crushes all over the country. Performing another original ‘Honest’ in the latter stages of the competition, the boys continued to exhibit their song-writing prowess and unique sound. With a debut album set for the summer, the Loveable Rogues are ready to remind us all why we fell in love with them and their music.
Ollie Marland’s journey began when in 2012, Ollie won a competition to sing and perform in front of thousands at Stoke 2012 organised by local radio station, Signal. The 18 year old picked up over 35% of the votes, which secured his place on the stage alongside Labrinth, Pixie Lott and Lawson.
Since then, Ollie’s fanbase on Twitter and YouTube has been growing rapidly with over 85,000 Twitter followers and an incredible amount of views on his You Tube page. Ollie is an incredibly popular and likeable young man who always has time for his fans. Ollie is hotly tipped as the next big British sensation and has been hard at work in the recording studio working with some of the biggest writers and producers in the music business. Ollie recently toured the UK as a support act on the Union J tour and received a rapturous response wherever he visited.
