Liz Hobbs Group celebrates 25 years in the music industry with the acquisition of new premises

Celebrating its 25th year in the music industry, Liz Hobbs Group (LHG) today announces its acquisition of new premises in Newark, Nottinghamshire comprising of a 20,000 square foot facility. Based in Newark, Liz Hobbs Group is one of the largest event production companies outside London and has built a solid reputation for creating inspiring events and working with some of the world's greatest artists and venues combining music and sport. Liz Doogan-Hobbs, MBE, commercialised the music after racing concept, more than 15 years ago; a strategy which has been credited for creating one of the largest revenue streams to the UK horse racing industry.

Having traded from its London Road premises for over 20 years, LHG took the decision to move to a larger facility as a result of their substantial growth plan. LHG will remain in Newark as it provides excellent rail and road connections to venues nationwide that the company serves. Liz Doogan-Hobbs, MBE, said "This is a significant investment for the group after reaching our milestone of 25 years in the music industry. The project has taken 10 months to design, will enable us to merge two sites and once completed will transform a former cold storage industrial unit into a fantastic and dynamic purpose built space for us to occupy and facilitate growth."

Covering over 1.5 acres, the new "Music Factory" premises will be fully equipped with rehearsal space, stage design and build facilities, together with the prospect of a new learning centre that Liz has always pictured as a way of the business re-investing into the future of the events industry.

LHG are expanding their portfolio moving into artist touring opportunities in 2015 and this move marks an exciting new growth phase for the company. The new building will provide the space to build a full show indoors including stage, sound and lighting before it goes out on tour. Liz Hobbs Group are planning on making the exciting transition to the new "Music Factory" premises in the first quarter of the year, once building works are completed.
