Riverside Park, Newark Castle Newark Friday 17 Saturday 18 Sunday 19 June 2016
Last week, following the launch of Newark Festival in October and the fact that the Newark public had been snapping tickets up in their hundreds with record tickets sales being reported in the first month of sale, the organisers of the Newark Festival extended the Early Bird deadline for tickets for the Saturday night (18th June) for another week. The reaction to this extension was phenomenal and hundreds more tickets were sold!
Then at the Newark Christmas Lights Switch on, yet more tickets were sold and the overwhelming feedback from the town was that they wanted the Early Bird ticket price for the 2016 Newark Festival to continue. The Newark Town Council and LHG Live who organise the Newark Festival have responded to this and agreed to extend the Early Bird Tickets until Christmas Eve!
Tickets will now be on sale at Early Bird Prices until 5pm on Thursday 24th December 2015
The CEO of LHG Live Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE said, "The people of Newark never disappoint and their enthusiasm for the Festival is amazing. We have listened to them and have extended the early Bird Ticket Price right up until the last possible moment, making tickets the ideal Christmas gift! People love experiences and to give a loved one a great day out for their Christmas present makes perfect sense! LHG Live and Newark Town Council would like to wish the Newark Community a very Happy Christmas!"
Organisers pointed out that after 5pm on Christmas Eve full ticket prices will apply and that there will be no further Early Bird offer.
Back for the 5th year running, the now well established three day festival at the Riverside Park in view of Newark Castle, presents as its highlight a strong 80's Night featuring Spandau Ballet's own Tony
Hadley, ABC, Bananarama and Midge Ure (from Ultravox) on Saturday 18 June 2016.
