The annual Great British Entrepreneur Awards have just announced the line-up of finalists for this year's highly anticipated business event, which takes place at the prestigious Lancaster Hotel in London on Tuesday 22nd November.
We are thrilled to announce that our CEO, Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE has been shortlisted for the Service Entrepreneur category following a stringent selection process, with applications this year totaling over 1,800 across all categories.
Regarded as the benchmark for entrepreneurial success in the UK, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards – produced by the publishers of Fresh Business Thinking - celebrate the contributions and innovations of British entrepreneurs and their impact on the economy; entrepreneurs who are recognised as business leaders from multiple industries.
Previous winners have included Julie Deane MBE, founder of the Cambridge Satchel Company, James Watt, co-founder of Brewdog and Alexander Solomou, founder of Lad Bible.
Nick James, Founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, said: "This year we have yet again enjoyed an increase in the amount of entries for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, and every single category is fiercely contested. There is no doubt that Entrepreneurialism is alive and well in the UK despite any uncertainty over Brexit."
The grand final gala evening will see over 2,000 entrepreneurs and business delegates turn up in their finest for an evening of celebration and recognition within the stunning backdrop of the Ballrooms at the Lancaster Hotel.
We wish Liz the very best of luck for the evening with congratulations from all of us here at LHG on making the shortlist.
