The Vamps at Leeds Millennium Square on Sunday 12 August
The latest act for the Millennium Square Summer Series of Concerts in Leeds is announced and its UK’s best pop band The Vamps! They are bringing their infectious slice of pop to perform this summer in Leeds on Sunday 12 August 2018.
Fresh from their own smash hit Arena tour, The Vamps will be playing all their well-loved hits such as All Night, Personal, Can We Dance, Wild Heart and recent single Too Good To Be True, a collaboration with Danny Avila and Machine Gun Kelly.
The Vamps said,” We love performing in Leeds – there’s always such an incredible atmosphere and we can’t wait for you party with us at Millennium Square!”
Brad Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans formed The Vamps in 2012 and have achieved a phenomenal amount of success in the past 5 years. The band have sold out multiple world tours and played London’s O2 Arena over 20 times. They scored their first #1 album last year with third record Night & Day (The Day edition) and stormed straight into the iTunes Top 10 in a further 20 countries including Argentina, Philippines, India and Australia. They are a force to Page 2 of 3
be reckoned with on social media, with over 6 million likes on Facebook and 151 million views on their YouTube alone.
Opening the nights festivities on stage will be New Hope Club. Blake Richardson, George Smith and Reece Bibby originally bonded over their shared mission of making anthemic yet acoustic-guitar- driven pop music. “Right away we realized there was something special with the three of us,” recalls Blake. “We were jamming in George’s living room, playing Oasis songs and all that, and we just clicked in a really amazing way. We started writing together that weekend, and everything took off from there. Playing with The Vamps is something we love doing – Leeds is going to be a real fun night.”
The concert is part of the ‘Live Summer Series’ taking place in Leeds Millennium Square across the summer and compliments the already announced shows.
